Fruiting Body is a series that explores contrast as it exists in the life cycle. The beauty of life goes hand-in-hand with the discomfort of decay. It is the very foundation of it.

We only see and appreciate the fruiting body of the mushroom, often without acknowledging the grit and unsavory work of the mycelium underground as it toils with the unsavory business of breaking down death to give way to new life.
