In this series I document my own internal struggle and feelings surrounding the medical neglect of women. Women’s health issues, both mental and physical, often take a backseat and suffer from lack of research and funding, as well as general awareness. This series is particularly focused on how attention disorders and autism often go undiagnosed in women, as the benchmark for said diagnoses are often based on boys and men.
